My home had a cloudy title, due to some issues with the original builder, discovered 1 week before closing. Nancy worked with my mortgage lender to make sure that I was informed and calm about what was going on. I had looked at houses for almost a year and it appeared at the time that the house I finally felt at home in was going to fall through; thankfully, it didn’t and we got the issue resolved and moved on to closing.
At every turn, Nancy was patient with me and always forthcoming with any detail that she believed would assist me in determining if a house was right for me. | Upon deciding to retire to the Huntsville area, we were fortunate to engage Nancy Willuhn as our realtor. We were concerned about making the right decision in buying a home in Huntsville, since we didn’t know the area.

| Nancy Willuhn was our Realtor. We were fairly new to the area had very little experience in buying homes. Nancy immediately took us under her wing and helped us find the home of our dreams. She was always so kind and always made looking for a home fun. She was very patient and always looked out for our best interest.
Nancy coached us on many things and showed us what to look for in buying a home and what to stay away from. Nancy’s great personality and experience always kept things moving and she always had a good scheduled appointment before seeing a home. For those of you who are looking for a FABULOUS Realtor, not just a great Realtor, you will be doing yourself a huge favor by calling Nancy WIlluhn. We were first made aware of Nancy when my daughter used her services in an out of state move from Utah to Alabama. Nancy was extremely helpful in light of the fact that my daughter was not going to be able to come in town for the house selection and needed to rely on computer listing info, her husband's judgement, and lots of photos that Nancy provided, as well as many phone conversations. Selecting a house without having set foot in the door is not for the faint of heart, but Nancy made that experience as painless as possible and my daughter felt very comfortable with the house that was ultimately selected. She had no hesitancy in recommending Nancy to us when we decided to move from out of the country to Huntsville.
Nancy showed us houses on several occasions when we came up from Mexico. Each time she was very helpful. Even though we still had a house that we had to sell in Mexico before we could buy a house in Huntsville, she always made time for us. When our house sold we raced back to the states to look in earnest and make a decision. We wrote a contract on a house that we had looked at in the winter, which 6 months later, was reduced in price. Nancy helped with difficult negotiations as the house was owned by out of state heirs.
I was a former Realtor and know how demanding the job is, and did not want to make things more difficult for Nancy, but by the nature of our being out of the country, many of the typically routine procedures were more complicated. Through it all, Nancy was professional, well-informed, helpful and dedicated to helping us successfully close on our house. She has a great sense of humor which made time spent with her a lot of fun, and it also helped when we ran into some roadblocks. No difficulty was too great for Nancy, and as a result, we are now enjoying our house. When we think of Nancy it is with great appreciation for all of her help.
